What format are the photos in?
All downloadable Ocean-Image photos are in JPG format. The copyright logo is removed before the image is downloaded.
I ordered a print, what happens now?
Once your payment has cleared, your print will be posted to you. Our usual turnaround time is within 4 working days for UK addresses. Other countries may take longer.
Do you add photos on a regular basis?
Yes. We are constantly updating the site with new images. Click on "Latest Photos" above to see the most recent images that have been posted.
Can I submit photos to sell?
Absolutely. Our aim is to offer quality Ocean-related imagery. Please get in touch if you want to sell your high quality ocean-related images via this site.
Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to our entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned. On a rare occasion we will make exceptions on a case by case basis.
Are there any restrictions on my use of the Ocean-Image photos that I download?
Yes. While Ocean-Image offers great freedoms and a wide ranges of uses, we do not allow the redistribution of our photos, or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format. Any commercial use will require the correct Commerical License.
Are there any costs after Registering?
Currently subscriptions are FREE, allowing use of the lightbox, emailing images etc, you only pay if you want to buy a print, download a file for personal use or buy a commercial license. Monthly subscriptions may be available later, allowing a certain number of free downloads per month. Currently there are some FREE downloads, click here to see them. That's it, marvellous !
Is account sharing allowed?
No, sharing an account is the same as distributing our images to others. Individual accounts must be opened by your friends and colleagues. They are free after all.
I registered an account, but it says I'm not activated, what do I do?
This shouldn't happen because it's FREE to sign up, though on rare occasions your account may not be automatically activated. If you are not able to access photos Ocean-Image using your details, send us a support request and we'll endeavour to solve any problems.
I need a Commercial License, but can't find one that suits?
Where our standard license guide doesn't cover your intended usage e.g. multiple or extended use of an image, repeat publication, larger sizes etc, please Contact Us to discuss your requirements.
Do you offer discounts ?
If you need multiple images for a publication or exhibiton, we are happy to discuss discounts.
Can I get RAW or Tiff files ?
Most, though not all, of the photos were originated as RAW files, and where these exist, they will be available, please Contact Us .
